As GRAVITY we designed and implemented a warm meeting room for one of our clients to provide the senior officials with a friendly and comfortable gathering space that promotes collaboration. A variety of natural materials were carefully selected to create a cozy and homely atmosphere that diverges from conventional meeting room designs. Timeless walnut veneer wall panels were implemented to create a rich enveloping space with contrasting oak flooring for depth and warmth All movable furniture was meticulously collected from antique dealers and vintage stores and restored to their former glory to achieve an intimate, sincere and soulful design that feels lived-in. The walls were adorned with portrait painter Nevzat Çevik's paintings and a special corner was designated to pay tribute to the company's success and heritage, with framed nostalgic photographs and newspaper clippings as well as a display of a vintage cash register that was used in the first Migros store The room was designed to be acoustic and sound-proof to ensure an isolated and confidential space that evokes the feelings of being transported to a remote location in the visitor.
